GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

The Reporting Lead Analyst will:

  • Ensure quality IT services are delivered to both operational and instructional areas of the division.
  • Support and lead various departments through the creation and modification of user defined and customized reports using SQL, SSRS and Excel.
  • Lead responsibility for state and federal reporting mandates.
  • Participate in activities to define, develop, test, analyze, maintain, and support new software applications to include coding, testing, supporting, and analyzing available software solutions.
  • Manage enterprise applications and databases.
  • Use industry standard methodologies.
  • Interact positively with vendors to resolve identified issues.
  • Assist/lead distribution/rollout processes for application programs, databases, and updates.
  • Effectively assist/lead simultaneous projects with established deadlines.
  • Assist in the installation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of software and SQL databases
  • Provide accurate and reasonable timelines for assigned projects.
  • Document procedures and guidelines
  • Provide training formally and informally to customers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Experience preferred with:

  • Microsoft SQL
  • Relational database design concepts
  • Report writing software (preferably SSRS)
  • Program analysis and documentation
  • Testing concepts
  • Office 365
  • Program Management

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Position requires a BS degree in CS/MIS plus five years relevant experience, or combination of education/certifications and experience that enables performance of all aspects of position; prefer experience working in an educational environment; prefer Student Information Systems experience
